Well Christmas has come and gone…..the summer break from work has come and gone…and all my New Years Resolutions have already been forgotten!

So how was Christmas?

I really enjoyed being with my husband’s family in the Southern Highlands of NSW. I enjoyed the beautiful food and watching our little nieces play….but most of all I enjoyed the presents. I just love watching people’s reaction when they open gifts from loved ones…and of course I love receiving presents too!

So what were the stand out gifts this year at my Families Christmas Tree?

A new PC – My father in law was thrilled….he loves that he doesnt need to go off and make a cup of tea while waiting for the computer to boot up!
A Tiffany & Co Bracelet – Every girl just loves to receive the beautiful blue box with white ribbon!
Perfume – Pretty and Sweet: Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker perfume

Only 3 weeks til’ Christmas……

It doesn’t quite feel like summer time in Sydney yet…but it is beginning to feel a little more like Christmas.

I put up my Christmas tree last night…although rather than a tree, I have used white branches in a vase with some gorgeous baubles (my place is too small for a real tree..or even an artificial tree for that matter!).

As for my Christmas shopping – I feel rather organised this year, and really only have a couple of my friends and family to purchase for.

My Tips for avoiding Last Minute Christmas Shopping Delemnas:

Write a list – Ensure you have included everyone you need to select a gift for
Detail the budget (per gift recipient)
Record what gifts they have received in the past
Record ideas and items that your gift recipient may like, perhaps they have made some hints recently!!!
Plan your shopping expeditions and try and do most of it ONLINE!!!!!

….believe me, this may sound pedantic, but when you are at a large department store on a Saturday morning in December, this list will save your sanity!!!!!
